REXI euro grey glass has a light color. The amount of pigment, melting time and melting temperature will affect the depth of the firing color to varying degrees. The grey shades can also be assigned as needed.
Shading Coefficient: Abbreviated SC, in GB/T 2680 called shading efficiency (abbreviated as Se). It is an important limit indicator for China manufacturers in building energy efficiency design standards. It refers to the ratio of the amount of solar radiation energy transmitted through the window to the amount of transparent glass passing through the same area of 3 mm. SC is calculated by dividing the total solar transmittance of the sample solar energy by the total solar energy transmittance of the standard 3 mm clear glass (0.889 theoretical value in GB/T2680, 0.87 in international standard), SC=SHGC÷0.87 (or 0.889). In China euro grey glass factory we use 0.87 and the result must reach to a certain value.
The smaller the shading coefficient, the better the ability to block sunlight from radiating into the room. However, only in the hot climate areas and large window-to-wall ratio buildings, the low shading coefficient is conducive to energy conservation, in cold areas and small window-to-wall ratio buildings, the high shading coefficient is more conducive to the use of solar heat to reduce heating energy and achieve energy saving.
Therefore, the euro grey glass price is diverse in different regions, for Chinese suppliers, their products are more popular in the north.
